Eva's Story
Hi. class of 1962 . It was good to see some of you at the class reunion. we had a good time. It was over cast at the time. It sprinkel a few times. It is good to see every one. We recently lost one of our ourown classmate Nola Curtis . 6 class member is now with our Lord. 50 years ago we graduated from Gorham school. We all went our seperate ways. Most of us gotten married and had kids. I . never been married, Still living in my home on rout 247 I keep in touch with some of the class mate. I was employed aat Canandaigua Wine company on Bufflalo Street in Canandaigua New Yourk for 36 years. Retired from there in 2002. Nothing great what i been doing the retired years. I go by our school when I go visit my sister. Good memories in that school. Few years back our class re visit the Gorham Elementary school. They were some few changes made. Part of the hallway on the second floor was make in to big library , The hallway as I remmember is pink. The school color change from gold and green to blue and gold. we had a circus in the gym. That was fun. A lot of assembly programs to. Yes those are the good memmories we had. I remember the Donky basket ball games . It was funny to see them play. Once in a while some one will set a fire in the paper shoot. One time some student bougth one of the teachers car in to the gym. Well they got suspended for a few days from school. I forgot what teacher it was that own that car.I remember we had teacher day. We take the teacher places teaching a class. I teach home making during the day. That was sort of fun. Yes these are times we all had fun in our Gorham Elementay School. Our class was to be the first class to graduated from the new high school which never happenss. I remember one day in the librarry I was doing my home work. For some reason I look up at the ceiling . What I saw was hundreds of dotted chewing gum stuck on the ceiling. I thought that was funny at the time. Things that the student will do to past the time a way. Now here it is 50 years latter we are still here. We had 6 death in the class of 1962. Eva Elizabeth Wood
