Evangeline's Story
I have been married for what feels like all my life. My first husband died from stomach cancer in 1994. He left me with 3 beautiful and loving daughters. I remarried in 1996 to a wonderful man and my girls adore him. He brought to the marriage a daughter and 2 sons. I am so proud of each and every one of them. They all turned out to be wonderful parents of my 20 grandchildren.
I have been working, again, for what feel like all my life for the US Government and am looking forward to retirement. I am going to try to hang in there for another 3 years. Only God will tell.
After high school, i married while attending Cal State university in Los Angeles. i received a degree in Business Administration and Fashion Merchandising. After graduating, i was a buyer in the shoe department of a very large department store for 14 years. i finally got tired of that and decided to apply for a government job and i have been there for 22 years. i am looking forward to retirement.

ll have 2 sisters and a brother. All live in CA. Two of my daughters live in Arizona, all the rest live in CA. Although I miss my family I really love Texas and don't plan on leaving here any time soon. I would love for my kids to move here.
In retirement, I hope to spend several months visiting them, but you know what they say about mother in laws, so I won't stay very long. I have to have someplace to call home. I have great son-in-laws who love me as I love them and I want it to stay that way.
I have a group of wonderful friends who followed me to Texas, and I say followed because I came first. We love to spend time camping in the motorhome, and taking the boat out on the many lakes and rivers we have here in Texas.
My kids are very dedicated to raising their families and at present don't have time for anything else. I am sure when the kids are grown, married and raising kids of their own my babies will be able to spend more time with me. I look forward to that day.
