I never know what to say in these things...
My life was a train wreck through the 80's and 90's. It's much better now. I've been with my husband for 27 years. I'm a 27 year cancer survivor. I'm a Lapsed Catholic/ Indifferent Pagan. I worked in accounting and public policy until my body said "enough". I was a fiber artist before arthritis outran my fingers. Now I'm trying to write again. I have a brain chemistry imbalance which gives me a sometimes skewed view of the world -- this sometimes inspires my writing. Other times it paraliz...Expand for more
es me and can keep me housebound for weeks. It's just something I live with because really - what's the alternative? No kids - just a very fat chidoxie, an even fatter cat, and a puppy being trained to be my support animal - very smart, and just as stubborn as I am. It's a good match.
My life is nothing like I thought it would be, back in high school. It's exactly the life I want, and I know I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be. I'm happy, which is good. I am loved beyond reason and measurement, and that's a blessing I never hoped for.
