I am still very quite but like to listen to my friends talk and help whenever I can . I have worked in a nursing home for the last 10 years, that is up until Feb of 07 when I became ill and had to take an early retirement. I would like to return to work one day soon. I had lost my eye sight due to diabeties but after having surgery in June of 08 I am now getting it back slowly. I realize how important it is to have friends to count on. I always wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a bad idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. I loved it I became a nurse aide and on to becoming a medication aide. It was wondrful I have been married 33 years to my husband Wendell. We have 2 children, girl and boy, and 2 grandkids, both boys. They are the light of our lives. we moved from Splendora 14 years ago to a little town called Bedias. Talk about country.
