Everett's Story
Life
Hello, I have been married since 1983 and moved to FL in 1984 and returned in 1988. My wife has been in child care most of her life and is a teacher/ tutor, and works at home online also. Our daughter was born in 1998. She is 15 years old now. We were foster parents for special needs children. We are now living in Washington,IN. We move here in 2004 from Kansas City. My parents have had cancer in very advanced stages so they could spend more time with Mandy we moved close to them. They did not take chemo just herbs that cure cancer or prevent it. My dad would go to the emergency room often with intense pain and each time they sent him home telling him it was just gas. When one doctor decided to look deeper my dad was sent home to die 12 years ago because they had opened him up and found stage 4 cancer on most all of his organs and gave him less than 2 months to live with chemo. He lived for years after they sent him home because he refused the chemo and started the natural herbs and died in his 80,s. I had a job in Huntingburg that was suppose to go to lean manufacture a few years ago, but they dropped the ball. They have downsized...Expand for more
a dozen times or so and just don't get it. I have been in charge of lean and efficency as well as safety at US Laminates. Lean programs have a failure rate of more than 9 out 10 companies. They have good salesmen who promise lean will work for them, then blame the peaple for resisting or not doing it when it fails. I am working at Perdue as a wastewater treatment operator since 2012. I just want to provide for my family help America get on its feet again. I would hope the future was looking better for America but I fear soon it will not be anything like we had growing up where we had hope in the future. I hope she will have good memories to keep with her the rest of her life. We had been members of Union Chapel Baptist when we married, but when we lived down in Florida we went to a church that we left one day and we didn't find another one til we moved to Washington, IN. We didn't want our daughter to miss out because of us. It was such an empty life not growing in the Lord, having a chuch family to support eachother, or just being obedient and faithful. We are not where we could have been because of past decisions but we know now more than we knew then. Wish you all well.
