Everette L.'s Story
Hello everyone from Hot Springs High and Hot Springs Arkansas!!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to You All! All the best for you and your family, & our nation in 2009.
I Hope you are all doing well and enjoying life. My wife and I live in Portland Oregon and I am a Government Manager / Trainer with the state of Oregon. I have worked here for over ten years after leaving the world of broadcasting in radio and television. My main job is as a Minister with a national church organization based out of Portland.
Life has been good despite some difficulties. I have had and survived several bouts with cancer and have been blessed with a gorgeous wife and three children, a son and two daughters, and five active, beautiful and very busy grand daughters who think Papa is a money machine!
Eight years ago we lost our son due to a tragic accident, Miss him so much, but he lives every day in our hearts and memories. His spirit has helped me through my bouts with cancer.

What I would tell all of my friends on what I and my wife have learned from having and being blessed with children.
To enjoy every minute of life and to always let your children and family know you love them with all your heart whenever you leave them.
You may never see them again. The last words my wife and I heard from my son a few hours before he was killed was "Love you Mom, Dad".
Those words carry us everyday, as we miss him and grieve for him. Tell your loved ones that you love them! Everyday!!!
