Fannie's Story
Fannie is from Flint, Indiana. Fannie's schools include Flint High School. Fannie later attended International Business College, Fort Wayne, IN. Fannie works(ed) at Rea Magnet Wire. She moved back to Angola, IN after working in Fort Wayne, IN from 1959 until 1966. Got a job at Wal-Mart when they opened in Angola in 1966. Worked as a cashier for 2 years and transferred to the Pharmacy. Worked there from 1966 until 1981 or for 15 years. Also worked at the office of Elliott Manor from 1983 until 2006. Both of these jobs were part-time. The job at Elliott Manor included the development of Northlake Manor. Really it was the Angola Housing Authority under the direction of Barbara Sunday. as the Professional Accounting Course . Got married in 1970 to Ray Johnson. Have two girls. The oldest girl has a son who is 8 years old. They live near Warsaw, IN and have a farm involving horses. It is their business. She and her husband are trainers, buyers, and all of the work involved with horses at a farm. The youngest girl is living in Angola, IN. She has two children. A Son who is 11 years old and a daughter who is 5 years old. She works at Cameron Woods, a Senior Assisted Housing development for Seniors in their own apartments. It has been there for 14 years and she has worked there that long. Her husband works at Double Envelope. Ray worked on the Indiana Toll Road for 39 years and is retired now. Live in Angola, IN and retired. Both are retired and enjoying it and the joy of three grandchildren.
