Fawn's Story

Life Right after high school I went to Merritt Davis business college, after graduating from there I had several different jobs with Kelly Services Temp agency. Then got married in 11/87 which makes it 18 years now. After getting married we lived in Spokane, WA for six months where I worked at Columbia Lighting. Then we moved back to Salem and I got a job at Oregon Fruit products. After working there about a year we decided I would stay home and be a Mom! Now we have 5 kids, 3 boys, 2 girls. The oldest is 15 and the youngest is 4. I tried selling Tupperware...wasn't cut out for it and then I was a demonstrator for the rubber stamp company that is called "Close To My Heart" (formerly D.O.T.S.) I loved it and did it for 3 years, but when I had another child I had to quit. Now I'm currently trying my hand at internet marketing. I love PC gaming, rubber stamping and watching movies. Still live in Salem, OR....Expand for more
...thought we were going to move near Seattle this year (2005) so my husband could buy a business, but that didn't work out....which I'm really glad about 'cuz I don't want to move! UPDATE 2008: Internet marketing didn't last long...what an oversaturated market that is mostly a bunch of hogwash...lol. Anyway, now I do something sensible...I do daycare for a couple of teachers...their kids are so cute and sweet and good and I get my summers off! What could be better than that? Anyway, my oldest will be 18 and graduating 2009...wow, how time flies! And finally for the first time we get to take all 5 kids to Disneyland this year! We are all very excited. UPDATE 2020: Been married to the same wonderful man for almost 33 yrs. We now have 6 granddaughters and they are all amazing! Our "baby" graduated high school this year. This year our world has been a complete mess and that's all I have to say about that!
