Felix's Story
Life
After graduating in 1980, I attended Loyola University in downtown Chicago and I started to work for the Chicago Tribune in the advertising department. I eventually worked my way up through the ranks to sales. I left there in 1987 and went to work for the Life Newspaper (Suburban) chain as an advertising sales rep. After a number of years there, I was offered a position with the Press Publications, out of Elmhurst as a Sales Manager for one of their newspaper groups (1996). I was also testing for a firefighter position in Berwyn, where most of my childhood friends were working. I was fortunate enough to be hired in January of 1997 and have been there since. I never would have thought I would have the perfect career like I have now.

nthony (18) and Brian (13). I purchased my second home in 2003 in Bolingbrook, just to be closer to them.
I am very involved in the political scene in my hometown of Berwyn, where I work. I am also very politically involved within our state associaton of firefighters. I ran for a county commissioner position in Will County in 2006. Although I did not win, I gained very valuable knowledge in how to run a campaign. It was a very exciting time.
I would be interested in seeing some of the guys/gals that all hung around together during those late 1970's and early 1980's. .
Would love to have a reunion of all the old gang. Basically, the St Joes/IHM classes of 1980-81-82!!! Remember nights at Taco Bell on Mannheim? Parties at the Griffins in Cicero? etc.....
