Felix's Story
Felix (Gus) Gustavo Ortiz, 408-413-8284,
I attended Zavala, in 1955 through 1956, at the end school or the beganing of Summer, my family decide to move back to San Martin, California. I do not remember very many or any friends at Zavala from those years. SAD!
I do remember a young girl, (cousin) maybe a year older than me. She used to talk to me for the longest time in school(several months) pasted and one day, she came over at lunch and told me, see that lady, thats you aunt, Josephine Herrera Cereceres, she is your mothers sister. My mother died when I was three years old. My mother's last name was Maria de Jesus Cerereces, I have for many year try to find her family and have not been successful.
My father Fransisco Ruiz Ortiz and my mother name was Maria De Jesus Herrera Cereceres, my brother's, name is Fransisco Alfredo Ruiz Cereceeres Ortiz, he attended Jeffereso High School. My name was Felix Gustavo Ruiz Cereceres Ortiz, but, the gringos change it to Gus while attending school in California. Please feel free to contact me at the above phone # or e-mail address ar if you remember classmates with the last name of Cereceres from Zavale or Jeffereson.
Thank You
Felix Gustavo Ortiz

After my tour in Vietnam, Sept. 21, 1965 throught September 21, 1966, I needed rest, my friend Jess Hernandez and I decide to go to beauty college.
I went to San Jose Beauty College and Jess, went to Sullians Beauty College. "NO WE ARE NOT GAY!!"
Our interest was that it would give us an opportunity to meet (sleep) with a lot of young ladies. We used to have great parties. We rented a house one block south of Santa Clara University.
At our parties we always had at least one hundred people, including the cops. I worked as a hair dresser for about a year at Penny Westgate and in Palo Alto, Mayfield Mall, at Joseph Maguiam Solon. In 1967,

When the moron Nixion, became president, over thousand men were fired. I decide to attend San Jose City College.
