June 2016 ***Update: February 2022, find me on Facebook as Rachel Stein*** How can I sum up the over 40 years since any of you have seen me? It's been a balanced life, with equal parts of grief and gratitude. I've been blessed to experience life in an intense, qualitative and beautiful way. Family has dominated my years with early marriage and divorces. I've raised two families as a single mother, but with the help, support and aggravation of ex-husbands. My two adult children have blessed me with eleven (and counting) grandchildren! While married, I've lived in Berlin, Taipei, San Antonio, Tampa and Jerusalem. I'm proud to be an Israeli citizen as well as a U.S. citizen. North Jersey is home now and it is rich in natural beauty that I never tire appreciating. re and purpose is and met remarkably brilliant, deep and extraordinarily compassionate people. Pet cats and dogs have enriched my life and widened my heart. Professionally, I've worked in childcare, education and the legal system. The focus for the recent many years has been my teenage daughter in my role of Stay-At-Home-Mom. The attention has shifted a bit to launching a private practice as a Hypno-Counselor; a skill I was taught years ago. Writing is also my primary focus with a few creative endeavors underway. Meditation, yoga, social media, book club, laughing, forest bathing (what the Japanese call walking through the woods), infrequent jaunts into the City, encouraging friends and genealogy round off my activities for now.
