Flora Crew:  

Plaines River. I remember being a cadet with Ms. McNally at Murphy and making the girls in her PE class do jumping jacks. They hated me, I think. I remember being in Ms. Green's homeroom at Murphy, and her pretending like I had got a demerit on April Fool's Day when I didn't. I was so mad at her for doing that. My heart was really thumping. At Barton AcademyI got into a fight with Cindy Jarvis, and got sent to the office. Ms. Hanson, the music teacher, came in, and almost got me suspended because I had laughed one day when she had told the class that she was not on a social visit with Mr. Blackmon, the shop teacher. (I had thought that was pretty funny, I mean, who would have a social visit with Ms. Hanson?) Oh well. Later, I saw Cindy Jarvis one summer at Dauphin Island and she didn't seem like she was that mad at me. Umfortunately, she passed away not too long ago apparently of heart disease. I don't know what happened to Ms. Hanson or Mr. Blackmon.
