Florence's Story

Life After my time in San Bernardino and Pacific my father retired from the Air Force , and we moved back to NC. I attended Pfeiffer College, graduated in 1964 and taught high school English for a year in NC. In June of 1965 I married Pfeiffer graduate who was then in Forestry School at Syracuse, NY. We stayed in NY until early 1967 when we moved to Coos Bay, OR. We lived there for 35 year...Expand for more
s while Lance was a forester. I stayed home with two children until 1981, when I began subbing in high school. I subbed regularly for 21 years. In January 2002 Lance retired, I quit, and we moved to Brevard, NC, in the mountains. We've built a log house there and stay busy with church and family. I'd love to hear from folks from Pacific. I have seen none of you since I left SB in July 1964!
