Florine (Flo)'s Story
Life
After High School, I did the usual thing, went to college, and got a part time job. In 88, I uprooted my life and moved to downtown Minneapolis, MN. I attended North Central Bible College for about a year and a half. I loved the city so much, that I decided to stay as a resident for nearly 6 more yrs. I worked as a baker, and also at the Mall of America. My time in Minnesota brought me many good, close, and enduring friendships. When my 1st nephew was born, I decided to move back to WV, so my nephew would know who his aunt was, instead of hearing about me. together with an old boy friend, Roy Harper from Rivesville, who I met and dated at Fairmont State in the 80s. We married and have a 3 yr old son, Joseph, who is as oinry as his dad. I received a certificate for child care specialities from Fairmont State in 2000, but I am not working in that field currently. I am a stay at home mom, who is loving every precious moment. We live in Arnettsville on Rt 19 north. One thing I can honestly say about my life so far, every decision and course I've made and taken, I regret none.
UPDATE!!!! We are now the proud parents of another beautiful boy, James (Jamie) born Jan 24 2006. Also, Joey is now 5 years and getting ready for his first year of school in the fall.
