Forrest's Story

High everyone, hope your all doing well and are healthy. I was on the 67-68 football team and remember when my grand father passed away during football summer two a-day work-outs, and I was told by my mother to go with her and my special needs sister to Kentucky for the funeral. Coach Gray obviously did not like this, and I didn't either but what are you going to do when yo...Expand for more
ur 16 years old. So coach Gray kicked me off the team. I cant tell you how much that hurt me and still does today. To make a long story short, Coach asked the team if it was O/K if I returned to the football team 4 days later and the team said yes. For a kid that loved football this was a blessing. I will be eternally grateful to my team mates for that. Thanks guys, Forrest
