Frances's Story
Life
I have two children (both 40-something) and four beautiful granddaughters and one grandson ages 2 mo, 9, 12, 12.5 and 15. I am very fortunate that three of the granddaughters are still living in the Greater Puget Sound area and still love to come to Nana's house. My daughter remarried and is living in Connecticut with husband, daughter and baby boy. I am still married to my college sweetheart and we have just celebrated our 43rd anniversary. He is my best friend.
2010 saw me traveling a lot. I went to Scotland, Holland, Germany Sweden, Finland, Estonia and Russia as well as spendin two months in CT. to help with new baby joys. All my siblings went on a Baltic cruise for my sister's decade birthday (hence Germany, Sweden, etc.). A great time was had by all. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Connecticut. My son-in-law needed neck surgery and with my daughter due shortly, they needed some extra hands. I have to say what exciting joy it is to watch your grandchild beiing born. Mom, Dad, big sister and baby are all doing well.
Workplace
I have my own stained glass studio and love creating something that can never be exactly the same even if you do it many times. I own a fairy store "Sea Faeries" and have a great deal of fun. What's not to like about going to work, playing with magic and coming home covered in fairy dust each day! I closed the storefront, but am still traveling to conventions and shows with my wares. I hope this year to get an online store going, and am trying to decide whether to go via ebay or my own website...any comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
