Life Wow! Where did forty years go! I have 2 grown children, Candace 36, and Damian, 31. Candace is a Senior Accountant, working on her Masters. Damian works in the recovery room of San Diego Childrens' Hospital. I am very proud of my children and their accomplishments. I am wealthy beyond belief with their love in my life! I also have one hilarious grand daughter, Quinn, 13, who calls me an aging hippie! She is a brilliant girl and reads on a college level - has since she was in 4th grade! Quinn is my shining star and the sweetest girl ever! She is an excellent cook too. Rachel Ray move over! My husband of 15 years, Anthony Tolfa, just completed 20 years of military and is a Security Officer and Supervisor. He helped arrest America's Most Wanted criminal James McDowell - June 4, 2006 with the Carlsbad, CA Police Dept. Check AMW website to see the man he helped arrest! Spooky! I have survived cancer 2x - Cervical in 1985 and Ovarian Cancer in 2001! Nice to still be alive! The Drs. told us another 6-8 weeks would have been too late. I was told I would spend the rest of my life in a wheelchair - but I still walk - cane and all! I am just not ready to sit down and be pushed around like a toddler! I am disabled with Fibromyalgia Syndrome and full Body arthritis - don't dance much anymore! (at least not in public!) I am glad I climbed mountains (Rockies! in 1970 & White Mts. in NH) waterskied, snow skied, and danced till dawn(does anyone still do that!) and hiked all over England from 1970-73 and western NY when I lived there! I miss being so active, but I love the long walks at the Beach in January! I decorated my cane with bead art. It is now unique and very much my own! I am an award winning Poet/Lyricist, having just completed my 6th recording contract with HillTop Records in Hollywood, CA.
