Life
I am at the stage in my life, where my kids are all grown and gone from the nest, and I am still young enough to really enjoy life and see it as it really is, not through the eyes of family..life is wonderful and I love every minute god gives me on earth..we are all only here for a little while.i am independent enough to do as I please, but rely on god for my very being..I have been through much tradgety in my family and friends, and it has made me stronger in the realizatin that how quickly it can all end..i have gotten back in church and love the people that rally around me, when the going gets tough..i have not become a famous, worldly name, but my name is written down in god's book of life and that is all that matters in the end anyway..i worked in retail most of my...Expand for more
life and have learned some valuable lessons in life..i am a people person and love everyone, even those that spitefully use and abuse, i am so forgiving..i am happy and single again, but could change that if the so called " right one" was to happen along.I left muscatine and moved to marion in 1961 when my dad passed away..i got married too young at 16, but stayed married to him until he passed away in 1979.we had 4 wonderful children and they all turned out good.so, life has been good to me. you get out what you put into it..
Workplace
I started out in the nursing field at age 18..also tending bar and dancing, working 2 jobs while raising a family of 4kids..later in my 30's I got into the retail sales business, until I had to quit work at age52 due to disabilities...
