Francesca's Story
So many things have happened this last 50+ years. Married and divorced twice (both guys were from St. Tommy More parish!) - I was blessed to be the mother of four wonderful children three daughters and one son. (four kids by the time I was 22 . . .) Once divorced I worked hard for so many years - various jobs - from 'singing" waitress, cocktail waitress, working with special ed kids, secretary to VP in a cookie factory, legal secretary, ward secretary at hospital, benefits administrator for Chicago FD pension office, to EA for a bigwig at the Chicago White Sox. I worked for them in 2005 when we won the World Series! I Retired in April 2013. I have been with my guy Richard for 28 years now - together we have seven awesome grandkids - three are mine - four are from his daughters.

traveled many places, - Mexico, Hawaii, Europe, Africa - the Mid-east among them. When I retired I thought my life was going to be wonderful - not so. The worst thing a mother can ever imagine happened to me . . . my wonderful son, Eddie passed away in December 2013. He was a beautiful soul - a good kind man - and at the same time - my baby boy. So smart,easy-going, patient, generous and very handsome. My heart is broken - my life is sad. Things will never be the same. I have to trust that this was all in God's great plan. I know that in life we must accept HIS will - not ours. I know some day Eddie will greet me in Heaven and I am trying to hold onto that. It is just that I MISS HIM EVERY MINUTE OF EVERY DAY. If anyone reads this - please keep me and all of us who love Eddie in your prayers. Thank you.
