"My Life" My Spouse: We actually met at AACC in the fall of 1982. It was really by accident because my class got canceled and I had to find another class to substitute for it. When I picked Comp and Lit, I saw him walk in and introduced myself to him right there on the spot. That was the moment I knew in my heart that he was the one I was going to end up with. The funny thing was that he felt the same, but unfortunately, we both had someone else at the time. The next semester we were carpooling and the next year we began dating and eventually got engaged. We were engaged for 2 years but I ended up breaking off the engagement in March of 1987. Over the next 2 years, we both dated other people here and there, but they never worked out. Eventually after 2 years of looking for each other in someone else, we realized that we were just meant to be together. On his birthday, July 1989, I made the decision to do whatever I could to find him, wish him Happy Birthday and ask him out for a drink to celebrate. So after several hours of trying to track him down, I finally Iocated him. Unbeknownst to me, he was trying to do the same thing but I found him first. Unfortunately he already had plans with his buddies to go to an Oriole baseball game on his birthday so we made plans to meet on Saturday.
