Frank's Story
Life
In the beginning, I attended PS 213 as I lived in Oakland Gardens, Queens NY.
I then attended IS 74 also in Queens. Grades 6 through 8.
From there I attend High School at Martin Van Buren in Queens Village NY, at this time I was living near Alley Pond Park. After graduating High School I attend Hunter College in Manhattan while still living at home. I was 1H when the Vietnam war ended. My parents died, 3 months apart in 1976.
I went off to the Navy in 1980. I joined the Naval Nuclear Power Program. First stop was San Diego for Boot Camp, Company 172. From Boot Camp I went to Great Lakes Ill for communications and radar "A" school. After "A" school I was off to Orlando, FL for Nuclear Power School, class 8105 section 14. I was halted from moving on to Proto type due to Captain Groth's adherence to the weight standards. I was 20 pounds over the limit.
I secured a position, after an honorable discharge from the Navy, with Con Edison's Indian Point Station Unit 2. I went to STA, Shift Technical Advisor, training and then to the nuclear pow...Expand for more
er plant. I worked at Indian Point for eight years. During that time I became proficient with computers and took a position in the IT department located at the 14th Street headquarters.
In 1992 I left to become an independent computer software developer and have been to present.
I like to travel; I have been to Mexico, Canada, Saint Thomas, Saint Martin, Nassau, Beliese, Hawaii, Tahiti, London, Paris, Austria, Australia, New Zealand, Kenya, Tanzania, Egypt, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Italy.
My only sister died in 1999 of TCP unexpectedly.
I received a black belt in Aikido, co-authored and published a book in 2000 on an esoteric style of Aikido. In addition I like to go flying now and then in Cessnas. I also study theology, astronomy and physics on a regular basis.
I never got married or had children. I live upstate NY, but work currently in NJ. I rent the top of my ex-girlfriends house while working in NJ. I go home on weekends to Fort Plain New York.
Living in Orlando now since March 2007 doing computer work and engaged to a childhood friend.
