Frank's Story

After high school, I entered the Salvation Army Training College in Atlanta, GA, where I met my firt wife, Margery Ann. We married in June 1973 and eventually had three children: Frank II, Raymond, and Karin Hope. My kids are grown now. As Salvation Army officers we served as pastors in Texas, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Alabama. During that time I went to school at night and eventually earned my B.A. and M.A. degrees from Seton Hall Univer...Expand for more
sity and Jacksonville State University. Ann died suddenly in 2003 and not long after I met and married Janet Elizabeth (known to friends as "Libby"). We are both Majors in The Salvation Army and are stationed at the USA Southern Territorial Headquarters in Atlanta, GA. I work as the assistant editor for this organization's newspaper, The Southern Spirit. We travel a lot throughout the Southland to write and publish stories of the Army's work.
