I am on this site to connect with old friends. I currently live in Louisiana, where i have lived for the last 30 years. It is a very different way of life but it has grown on us and we are now swamp people... I cannot imagine living anywhere else. The people here are beyond friendly, and find every occasion they can to have a party and enjoy life. "Lessez bon temps roulet" --- Let the good times roll. I remember calling my oldest daughter at college to check on her when Hurricane Katrina rolled in. When I asked if she was ok, she promptly informed me that she was "at a hurricane party." That is typical Louisiana. I am married to a beautiful girl with a sweet and gentle spirit. She lights up the room and she attracts people like a magnet with her kind heart.
