Frank's Story
After Collinwood went to Western Reserve University - earned BA in Biology. Became a Cleveland Public Schools teacher - Empire Jr. High School. Earned MA in Education in 1970 from Case Western Reserve University. Remained in teaching through 1979. Moved to Hagerstown, Maryland. My wife and I opened an ice cream parlor and deli, in Hagerstown, called Scoops 'n Slices, which we operated for 18 years. er King restaurants. I retired from that full time work in 2012. Because of the construction knowledge I gained in building and remodeling Burger King restaurants, I took a part time management consulting position with the General Contractor that built and renovated some of the Burger Kings I oversaw. As of January 2014 I am still in that position, looking to work a couple more years before full retirement.
I married in 1968. Had three children - two boys and a girl. My wife and I now have 5 grandchildren.
