Frank's Story
Life
After High School Graduation, I attended Oregon State University from 1965-1969 majoring in Pre-Med.
I then attended the University of Oregon Medical School from 1969-1973.
I completed an Internship at Letterman Hospital in San Francisco 1973-1974.
The army assigned me to the 172nd Infantry Brigade in Anchorage, AK where I was the Brigade Surgeon for then Col. Norman Schwartzkof from 1974-1977.
I married Sandra Gould in 1975 at my parents house on the North Umpqua River.
After leaving the Army, I started working full time in the Emergency Department of Providence Hospital in Anchorage, and I have been there since.

th a 1 year old red headed daughter Allaire. Our oldest son Christian is attended the same college, graduated with a degree in English. He taught for 2 years at a Christian School in Kona, HI (yes we were forced to visit him several times). We adopted 2 children from the former Soviet Union. They are now 21, Svetlana, and 25, Dmitri, years of age. We have homeschooled all of our children.
Military
I did my Medical Internship at Letterman Army Medical Center 1973 to 1974
I then was assigned as the Brigade Surgeon of the 172 Infantry Brigade in Anchorage Alaska from 1974 to 1977.
I left the Army in 1977 as a Major.
I am now working full time as an ER Doctor at Providence Hospital in Anchorage, AK. I have worked there for 35 years! I can't believe that I am that old.
