(IL), Madison (WI) and many other cities. I managed a 50,000 watt noncommercial FM radio station, and completed my Ph. D. in Communication at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1983.
I taught for 21 years as a Professor of (Speech) Communication Studies at Eastern Illinois University, where I took early retirement in May of 2000. Then, accepted a position as a full Professor at Austin Peay State University in the Communication Department in Clarksville, TN. At the Peay, we offer eight different undergraduate programs and a corporate communication and General Communication M. A. program with graduate students from Germany to Alaska and many mainland states of course primarily from the Nashville, TN metro area (29th DMA).
I operated my own Internet business in Charleston, IL and also had an online PR agency, marketing communication firm, and other business ventures. Today I am a franchisee of Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwiches in Clarksville, TN with my son, Jon.".
