Frank Rivera:  

Life Adam Frank Rivera (Born in 1948): Transferred from Lafayette in Oakland Calif. to attended Saint Francis De Sales School in Oakland Ca. from the second grade to a few days into the eighth grade. I became an altar boy serving mass on weekends and made my confirmation while at Saint Francis De Sales. I later transferred to Hoover Jr. High School in Oakland Ca. finishing the eighth grade and graduating after the ninth grade where I moved on to McClymonds High School.. My name and Raoul Perez name were placed on the McClymonds School of Champions Banner with all the other great McClymonds Athletic Champions who went to Mack. After graduating from McClymonds High School in 1967 I attended Laney College in the summer of 1967 to 1970. I did not go out for wrestling at Laney College because I had broken a couple of my ribs at the O.A.L Championships in 1967 and I knew the competition in Track and Cross Country would be harder in college so I devoted myself to running. I Co-Captain both the Cross County Teams and Track Teams that set many Records in the Coast Conference and later in the Golden Gate Conference. Rank as one of the Top Runners in Northern Ca. I Majored in Industrial Design/Architectural and I minored in Business. Was married in February 1970, had two daughters from that marriage. Served in the United States Air Force from 1971 to 1976 and was the winner of the Bicentennial Run at Mather A.F.B in Sac. Calif. I was honorably discharge and was given the Air Force Commendation Medal for what they said was outstanding service.
