Frank's Story
Well I'll start From the 5th grade, and through my freshman year in high school I was in Lone Pine, then I moved to Exeter Ca., life was good there also. Had some good times. After high school ( Exeter). My planes changed a little instead of going to COS I joined the Air Force. This was because I didn¿t want to be on the front lines in Vietnam, Sorry Steve B.. Went to Texas where the AF trained me in electronic, then was assigned to Minot AF base for about two years where I met my wife, It has been and good 41 plus years, from Minot AFB I was assignee to taiwan AFB and went TDY to Guam, Philippine, Thailand and Vietnam. d from there move to Levining then to Bishop and back to Kern River, then moved to Big Creek at the head of readenger lake. Then back to the Kern River, I guess I call Kern Valley home now after 20 pluse year. While living there and working for Edison I would spin part of my time cowboying for one of the ranches in Kern valley , in the spring we moved the cattle to the high county ( Kern plateau, Kennedy meadows, monache meadows, and the surrounding meadow on the Kern). We did some branding, doctoring and cutting, had some fun time helping out, but would not want to do that for a living, to cold in the winter on horse back. In 1996 Edison offer a early retirement, so I took it and went to work for Washington Water Power in Spokane wa.. Well I¿m still.
