After High School, I went to work, for about a year, and joined the military. After doing Basic Training, 9/4/80 to 10/31, at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, and AIT at Fort Jackson, South Carolina 11/1/80 to 2/1981, I was stationed at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, for 19 months, and would go back in a heartbeat, with money in my pocket, and a plane ticket to get there. I spend a year in Turkey, in Izmit, and Istanbul, from 1982-1983.
Got out of Active Duty in Oct 1983, found "an old girl friend", named Nancy and proposed to her on Christmas Day, 1983, and married 5 months later, and will be celebrating our 24th anniversary on 5/26,

Army Reserve, and stationed in Providence, Rhode Island until 1995, when the unit was disbanded, and got transferred to Fort Devens, Mass. and after 3 years, the unit was transferred to New York, but was too far to go, so I was transferred to Manchester, NH, unitl 4/2001 and retired from the military.
I have 2 sons, Frank is 23 year old son, and he followed "in Daddy's footsteps" and joined the Army after high school and doing is 2nd tour in Iraq. Joe is 15, we adopted him in 1999 when he was 6 years old after being his foster parents since he was 16 months old.
