Fred's Story
After Lear School, I was admitted to Emory College where I received a BA in 1980. Was then admitted to Emory University's Candler School of Theology where I receive a Masters of Divinity three years later. Upon graduation in 1983, I was appointed Associate Pastor (training position) at 1st United Methodist Church, Ocala, Florida. In 1986,I was Kaye Johnson. We later moved to my first Sr. Pastorate at 1st United Methodist Church of Land O Lakes, Florida. At that church, we had our daughter, Courtney and later our son, Joshua. Since 1990, our family has served the following United Methodist Churches in Florida: 1ST Estero; College Park, Orlando; 1st Hobe Sound; 1st Clearwater (as professional associate);
Skycrest, Clearwater (as sr. pastor), then from 2009 to 2012 I was lead pastor of Memorial in Lake Placid. And now I am Sr. Pastor...Expand for more

I hope people remember me as a compassionate, caring person who had/has a personal relationship with our Creator.
I always wanted to be a business man when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a n ok idea. As it turns out, they were not that right.
I blow off steam by: Walking; gardening; praying; reading The Bible; watching tv.
The wildest thing I ever did in school was to compete in the tricycle race (and we won!) in High School.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have prayer, patient people, and God's inspiration to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
Jesus (Yeshua) from about 2000 years ago - he's my Lord and Messiah.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Alan Cohen, because he was my friend in HS..
