Fred's Story

I was born in Hayneville, AL, a little town outside of Montgomery, AL. Finished high school at 16 and joined the Air Force at 17. Serve most of my time overseas. Went to apprimately 11 countries. Discharged in 1969; began college in 1970 at ASU. Granduated 1973; pursued a MS at Illinois State Universit, Normal. Taaught college at ASU for four years; then, went law school at Creighton University School of Law. Graduated 1982. Worked one year as a legal services lawyer. Then went to the Alabama Attorney General's Office as an assistant AG in 1983. Remained their until 2003. Went into private practice in 2003, where I remain. red was killed in an accident in 2008, leaving three children at the time, and one was born 6 months after his death. Have custody of two of the childre. Though we lost Fred, Jackson and Karrington, and the rest of his children bring us comfort. I always wanted to be a pilot when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. Had orders to go to pilot school in the Air Force, changed my mind and went into education. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is James Wells, because he was a true Air Force buddy. My best friend would tell you I'm average or below, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as intelligent.
