Married my first post high school graduation sweetheart Carol Soban (Linden High School class of 1965) in 1969. we have one son, Ethan, who just celebrated his 43rd birthday...just writing that makes me feel reeeely old! He's married to a great person, Nanci Ginty Butler, lives in Newton Mass., and has given us two super grandchildren: Owen born in 2008, and Maggie (Margaret) born in 2010. Yes his wife is a proud Irishwoman!! We're very close and have a rule about getting together once a month, either in NJ or Mass. or together on vacation.

retired from state government as Commissioner of Public Utilities in 2010 and started my own consulting firm in the areas of energy and water utilities policy. It keeps me busy, but Carol is very much my partner in this as COO and CFO. We travel a lot both for business and pleasure. We live in Belle Mead in Somerset county, but get back to Linden (45 minutes away) quite a bit since we're in the process of selling the ancestral home on Wheatsheaf Rd. Anyone want to buy a mostly restored expanded cape?
