Fred's Story
My wife and I are very happily married (47 years, 4 months...) and living (retired) in upstate NY. We worked most of our working years in Bennington, Vermont, and lived there from '69 until "87. That year we moved across the border and built a home in adjacent Hoosick Falls, NY. Our three children ("children" not any more) are as follows: Danielle Marie (living in Virginia and working in the DC area), Elizabeth Anne (living in Hawaii and somewhat estranged), and our youngest son is Michael, living in New Orleans.

aught (English) one year on Long Island (Selden/Centereach). Then I left my LI job and taught one year in Hopkinsville, Kentucky (wife was army nurse at Fort Campbell). That was a very interesting year. That year,1968-1969, that school was integrated.
My wife was scheduled to get out of the army in Sept, so I came up one month early and started working at Mt. Anthony Junior High (Bennington, Vt.). I spent the next 37 years teaching there (English). I retired in June of '06 and have been enjoying the change of pace.
