Freda's Story

Life I am married with one child. We live happily in University Place. I enjoy spending time with my family.I recently lost my mom to B-cell non-hodgkins lymphoma, but I know she is in a better place and no longer in pain. I visit with fresh flowers every weekend. I am currently trying to garden...so far I have bought bags of potting soil, bulbs and a japanese maple which was my mother's favorite tree. All I need is a pot that fit the tree:) I have 2 yorkies, who I hope will produce at least one more puppy for me to have. Their names are Maximus and Kaela (Koo Koo). They are total opposites, Max like to relax and Koo Koo can't get enough of playing! Workplace I have been with the same organization for the past 12+ years. I currently do invoicing, budgeting, auditing and monitoring for a specific program. Also during tax season, I assist taxpayers with preparation and planning for next year. ...Expand for more
I enjoy learning and expanding my knowledge base by reading the news, staying abreast of items that may affect my work. Although I am currently employed and enjoy my duties and co-workers, I am looking for an opportunity to better utilize my skills and growth. I have applied for positions and taken an assessments, but like all super heroes have there weakness....mine are tests and interviewing. I know my resume speaks to my ability, but I wouldn't want to be disqualified because of my testing/interviewing anxiety. Just like my current job, I was an Office Assistant 1 when I first began but with my need to learn and expand my knowledge base I have been promoted several times to being a specialist in the program I work with. Friends I have many acquaintances but a few friends, one I've known since the 4th grade! We are also co-workers too! So I will enjoy connecting with friends old and new...
