Freeman Jerrell's Story
Life
On November 29, 1986, Freeman Jerrell Knox was born to James and Doretha Knox. He is graduate of Northwestern High School. He attends York Technical College. In the spring of 2004, Jerrell was inducted into the National Technical Honor Society. He was accepted into the National Society of High School Scholars. He has been included in the 2002-2003 and the 2003-2004 edition of WhoÂs Who Among High School Students. At Northwestern, he was a member of the Yearbook Staff.
Jerrell is a member of Union Baptist Church where he serves in various auxiliaries. These include Junior Usher Board and Gospel Chorus. Throughout JerrellÂs life, he has had to overcome numerous obstacles and trials. Born with Spina Bifida, Jerrell has had to face countless surgeries and therapy. has always remained encouraged to never give up. He has a positive attitude about life and believes in putting forth an effort with his abilities.
School
High school was sometimes good and sometimes bad. I enjoyed though. I didn't want the graduation ceremony to end because I knew it would be last time I would see some people. IN HIGH SCHOOL, NOBODY BOTHER TO INCLUDE ME IN THEIR "CLIQUES". PEOPLE WOULD JUST SAY HEY AND KEEP GOING. THAT'S WHY AT LUNCH TIME YOU WOULD SEE ME SITTING ALONE. I DIDN'T WANT TO IMPOSE. NOBODY CALLS ME OR EMAILS ME. BUT I'M ALWAYS DOING SOMEONE A FAVOR.Senior year was the toughest. I didn't have a date for prom. I The girls can run to anybody except me but then they want me to do a favor for them. I always come through for them. Even though I smiled at the situation, It really hurt that I didn't have anybody to share that evening with. I had a good time though.
College
