Gabriel's Story
Life
God is great. Life is good. Starting my residency in family medicine in July of 2007.
School
Some of my favorite teachers were Mr. Baber, Mr. Warner, Mrs. Campbell, and several others.
College
My "unique" roomate huh? lol I lived with my folks until I GRADUATED from college and left for medical school. No roomates since that time.
My last semester at UTPB was the most fun. I'd been accepted to med school, had mostly easy classes, and I finally relaxed and had some fun. Too much fun probably.
Workplace
My first job was working at McDonalds on 8th St in Odessa. I was there for over a year! H...Expand for more
ow I did that I don't know. I hated it because they expected you to do a job that would take, let's say 5 people, in 90 seconds, but they only had 3 or 2 to do it. But it was good for me, I learned to deal with rude and impatient customers.
In college I worked mostly at the UTPB gym as a gym monitor. EASY. All I did was study, wash a load of towels, and play ping-pong. I did this for almost 3 years.
I also worked as a welder's helper and at Cheddar's in Midland when it first opened.
Now I'm pretty much going to be doing what I've been dreaming of for the last few years - seeing patients as a physician.
