Life
Married Louis C. Obiol Jr. in 1962
Children: Four (2 girls and 2 boys)Grandchildren three (2 girls and 1 boy).Children's names are Ramona Lee Davidson, Louis C. III, Veronica Gayle,and Dayle Eric Obiol. Ramona is the mother of my grandson Jeffrey. Charlie(Louis) is the father of my two granddaughters Brittney Leigh and Lynnzie Gayle.
Louis died in 1997.
I now live in Mandeville with my daughter Veronica and my boyfriend, Raymond Aitken. We love it here. Ray and I are looking foward to retiring in a couple of years.
I work at the First Parish Court in the Judicial Department and Ray works for Bally's Casino.
We have three dogs (Duke, Lady and Blue) and two cats (Butch and Spooky) all adopted. We, also, have a pond with goldfish and cocahoe minoes.
2005 was a rememberable year. I found out in February that a have congestive heart failure. In March I had a pacemaker and defibulater implanted in my chest. I was just getting over that when as we all know in August we had a visit from Hurricane Katrina. We left town and couldn't come home until the end of September. was not fun. It took us 4 days to get home from Montgemry, Texas. The rest of the trip wasn't to bad. Everything is slowly getting back to normal. We, also, had to put our dog Lady to sleep. She had kidney failure. Than Ray found a Golden Retrivier in Mississippi and we named him Sam.
I retired from the court house at the end of May 2005 and Ray retired in June of this year(2006). I guess he didn't like it too much because he is going back to work November 9, 2006 at the Silver Slipper Casino in Mississippi.
Veronica is getting married on September 29, 2007 to Thomas Hughes. They met at church. He is a very nice man and is good to her. We are in the middle of the plans for her wedding but have a few last minute things to take care of before the wedding.
Ray and I got married on June 11, 2007 in our timeshare in Gatlinburg, TN. We are very happy and still live in the house in Mandeville. Veronica says I just had to beat her to the alter. She now lives in Fickfaw with Tommy.
In December of 2007 Ray found out that he had cancer of the voice box. He took radiation and cemo and is now cancer free. Thank GOD.
