Gail's Story
Life
My Spouse
Though he graduated the year before
me ('73), we didn't meet until working
at the Rec. Center as lifeguards the
summer of '74. Many of you know
him, Bruce Girard. Actually, I think he
knows more from our class than I do!
We dated all through college before
getting married in 1979.
My Pets
After fostering cats for years for the Animal Humane Society I ended up adopting one I fostered. He is a layed back cool cat. Doesn't care for people food. ued it, fed it with eye-droppers and we soon had a second cat, Sushie. A playmate for Jack but a rambunctious one that loves to steal people food.
My Kids
In 2007 my oldest graduated from college and is working in the multi-media design world. My two others are in college.
My Job
I teach D/APE (Developmental/Adapted Physical Education). I work in Bloomington, mainly at Kennedy High School. But I also work at an elementary school and a middle school as well. All the students I teach have special needs of some type, either physical/other health imparements, cognitive, emotional, or behavioral
