Gail's Story

Life Well, ok, for those of you who have already read this, slight updates. I graduated Sonoma State University, met and married a Navy corpman and followed him to Okinawa, Pensacola, and here to Connecticut. We have 2 boys who are the light of my life and keep me going, along with my new family. Joshua and I divorced in 2004 and life has moved on in great ways, unless you count the rediculous trips to court because he is not getting his way with me, can't make me cower in the corner or be his doormat, whipping-post, puppet!! He has a new wife for that now, though I am still his perverbial punching bag. I've got new plans and goals to keep me busy (like I wasn't before?). I am back in school going after for my nursing degree and am working right now on becoming a doula. I also met and am now married to a wonderful man who loves me for me. ) He also has two daughters who are just a great addition. AND, if that isn't enough on my plate, a month and a half following our wedding, we were blessed with the news that were are going to have a baby. Well, our little girl was born December 4th. Life just keeps coming at me, and just when I thought this year was going to be a great break-through year, I ended up diagnosed with breast cancer. I know God puts nothing in my hands he doesn't believe I can handle. I just keep telling myself that and keep plowing on through... I'll keep you posted. :) School It all started with Hesperian School. Then on to St. John's in 6th, Moreau High School and Sonoma State University, where I completed my psych degree. I am currently working on going back to school for my nursing degree as a Certified Nurse Midwife. Keep ya posted to let you know how it all turns out.
