Gail's Story
Life
I had worked in various capacities at a local Springfield tv station and in radio. I married Brett Ulrich, a handsome and wonderful man who also graduated from a rival school here in Springfield in 1992, just don't let our basketball and soccer teams know. We now have 2 handsome boys who are being trained early to play soccer, basketball, football, baseball, and golf. I just hope they can follow in their dad's shoes someday and go to state in basketball. y husband's old soccer team (Kickapoo) and MHS play in the soccer finals and they ended up playing each other in the finals, unfortunately KHS beat MHS and my brother saw that game with him, so he had to endure the pain. Its too bad the game was on when MHS football was also playing, so didn't get to take in their game, but we saw them play in the finals on tv, we were pulling for them, but we also lost that, my husband and I realized that the private schools shouldn't be playing public schools anymore, because they can always RECRUIT better players and it isn't fair and balanced competition that way.
