Gail's Story
Hello everyone
I went to Burley from 1st grade until graduation. I have a brother Dale. Someone might remember him. He was always in trouble. those years at school seem so foggy. I remember 4th grade teacher Mrs. Smith, the 5th grade teacher lost it during class, Mrs, Slautery. She was so upset at the class. She made us line up at the back wall and then had a male student come to the front of the class, she slapped his face and broke his glasses. The principle came into the room and she told him that the boy's glasses broke on the playground!!!! What a memory. I am not sure but I think the student name was Ruben. We never saw her again. We got a new teacher who was so cool. At least that is how I saw her in my head. I think I also reme...Expand for more
mber my 3rd grade teacher. Her name could have been Mrs. Morse (?). I also remember a male 6th grade teacher however I don't think he was there very long.

If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have water, chap stick, and my car to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
This site helped me connect with my longest known friend, We met while we were in grade school. She lived on the other side of the street. We both lived on Belmont Ave. I am so glad I have been able to be in touch with her. I can't believe it but I can still remember my phone number and address from then, but not much else!
