Galen's Story

Life Hello All, For most of you it's been a long time since we last talked, so here's the short summary of my life since high school. . .After our prestigious graduation, I went to University of the Pacific (UOP) in Stockton, CA. My formal education from UOP included 4 years of undergraduate work in Electrical Engineering and about 1.5 years in co-op work experience (that’s 8 months working for the California Department of Water resources and 8 months working for Cisco Systems). Now not so formal education included joining my fraternity Alpha Kappa Lambda (AKL) and making up for all the stupid things I never did in high school (I think my liver is worse for wear). f 2002. I moved to the Mountain View, CA in the Silicon Valley and started working for Lockheed Martin, where I still currently work. In May of 2004, after 5 years of dating, I got married to my lovely wife Erica. I’m now married, own a house (still in Mountain View), and have two cats. . .Oh yes, somewhere along the way I discovered the wonders of the wine country we live in and have become an avid fan of wine. My wife and I spend a good amount of our spare time (when we’re not working on the house or spending time with friends and family) wine tasting and searching out those hidden gems at unknown wineries. So a quick 30 sec recap: Went to UOP, joined a fraternity, got my BSEE, got married, bought a house, have two cats. . .and before I forget buy and drink way too much wine. . . -Galen
