Garey's Story
Garey is from Cherryfield , N.S and now lives in Ottawa, Ontario. Garey went to school at New Germany Rural High School. He joined the RCAF in 1968 as an Instrument and Electrical Systems Technician and worked on various aircraft fleets including the Buffalo, Twin Otter, Voyageur helicopters, C130 Hercules, Boeing 707, Argus and finally the CF-18 Hornet. Bases posted to include CFB St. Hubert, PQ, CFB Trenton, On, CFB Summerside, PEI, CFB Cold Lake, AB, 5 years in Baden Baden Germany, CFB Borden and NDHQ Ottawa. e is a Certified Engineering Technician and after retirement from the RCAF , worked for 18 years as a CF-18 Instrument and Electrical Weapons Systems Integration Manager with the Royal Canadian Air Force. Retired in 2017, he and his wife Gale, travel extensively and frequently go to Tuscany, Italy to savour the local atmosphere.
Music Garey likes includes The Eagles, The Hollies, Jim Croce, Aretha Franklin. Movies Garey likes include Warner Bros. Pictures Canada, Revolution, Cineplex. TV shows Garey likes include MythBusters, Rick Mercer Report, The Big Bang Theory.
Favourite car is BMW especially his Blue BMW Z4 Roadster
