Garry's Story
WHAT'S HAPPENED SINCE GRADUATION: THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND SOME OF THE REST (CONDENSED VERSION)
Worked at Sears and UPS until 1977. Moved to Alaska in mid-1977. Got married with step-children in early 1980. Became bio-dad to child #3 in December 1980. Went to California for 3+ years in 1987. Told employer to shove it in 1990 and moved back to Alaska in early 1991.
Lost oldest daughter to suicide in 1993.
Son moved to Medford, Oregon in 1998, got married in 1999, and made me a Grandpa twice over since then. He is now on his third marriage and lives in Florida.
My youngest daughter graduated from Ithaca College in May, 2003 with a BS in Film Studies and a goal of a career in movie making. She lives in Los Angeles, works for an "American subscription video on-demand streaming service," and works with independent movie crews and local theater when time permits.

ded necklaces that have won ribbons at the Alaska State Fair and which are popular at local craft fairs.
I am currently a Web Engineer for the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium. Due to the recent "global health event" I continue to work from home. I love riding my mountain bike in the summer, which can be a challenge because in Alaska "summer" is often a relative term measured only by the calendar.
I raise parrots, am active with our local bird club (that's parrot-birds, not wild-birds), have spoken at parrot conferences in far away places, and have been published in a few parrot publications. When time permits, I bike, read, try to maintain my house and yard, watch the "magic movie window" in the living room, and play "World of Warcraft" (look for me as player "Sneakyparrot #1582" if you also partake).
There is so much more; you now have the frosting, but the cupcake remains to be seen.
Enough about me -- what's up with you?
