Gary's Story
Hi classmates, Well I finally left the corporate world January 1st, 2001, after 21years in health care food service, and 20 years in clubs and restaurants. My wife Diane and I moved from Minneapolis in 2004 and enjoy living in Payson Arizona. We are at 5000 ft. 75 miles from Scottsdale. Daughter Pam has 3 children and lives in Atlanta and son Jay lives in Pleasant Hill and after 16 years as the manager of the Olympic Club downtown SF he is now sucessfully selling real estate with Sotheby. Now back at the Olympic Club as interin GM.
I keep very busy in retirement with volunteer work, especially chairitable Chef work. I am the past President (Bailli) of the Scottsdale Branch of the Confererie de la Chaine des Rotisseurs. I also fish as often as possible. I was active in past Mayor's successful campaign and served as head of the Water Conservation Task Force and as a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission where I was vice Chairman. I also do Chef demos around town and special appearances as "Guest Chef" at Payson R...Expand for more

I ended up going to 4 schools, graduating from Michigan State in 1964. After Oregon State and USC, I got a culinary degree from the City College of San Francisco before going to Michigan State.
