Active Duty-March1965 to March 1967; USMCB9,Co.A " Sea Bees", Heavy Equip Operator;Mainly drove truck. Two tours Vietnam-Northern half. To many places to remember them all. To put it nicely,Blooded in Battle. The first 8 movies that that came out on Vietnam, I was at 6 of those places, plus, China Beach.
Dec.24Th.2009; I used Chantix Medison to quit smoking 2 to 3 years ago. "it WORKS",It cuts the habitual craving for the nicotine at the nerve centers. You do not just throw down the cig,s and then take Chantix. You start taking the chantix and slow down smoking as you have less urge for the nicotine which is like a habitual Drug. eing on the meds and i kept on taking the chantix for the whole 3 months. I still don't rememder when i quit smoking. It's in my medical records as you need a Dr's prescription to get it. Insurance covered mine except for a $15.00 Co pay. i smoked about 56 years or more . started when i was 7. I'm 64 with COPD. I said when i was young i could quit any time. I tried many time to. Gave up on quiting, till the nurse at the Doc's office mentioned they had come out with this Chantix. She and me had a talk. She talked to the doctor.Two weeks lator i wasn't smoking and i was not interested in smoking......Ya HOO.
I'm 64 yr's of age, 100% disabled thru Soc. Security about june 2000 at 54 yr's of age from COPD,"Cronic Obstructive Pulminary Desease". I'm also 20% Disabled Veterians Compansation. Heck of a way to retire early in life. Talked Enough; By.
