Gary's Story
Life
After high school in North Bay Ont. went to Univ. of Toronto (B.Sc.); then McMaster U.-medical school/residency; taught at Mac as a med school prof 'til 1992 then moved to Spokane, WA, USA where I was an arthritis specialist (and taught at the rheumatology/immunology undergrad program at Washington State University School of Medicine & was a part-time prof at Univ. of Washingt...Expand for more
on med school). Married-still- to Peggy (nee McIntyre-also from North Bay Ont.; met in high school); 3 kids (2 are MDs too) and 6 grandkids. Prior to retiring to Tucson AZ, I was an avid skier; it was great in Spokane at the western edge of the Rockies. Now live in perpetual sunshine where we rarely see freezing temps in the winter and very rare winter snow lasts hours at most.
