Gary's Story
Life
Moved to Utah in 1975. Married Kim in 1977. Kim's parents actually grew up in Pulaski. They dated my classmates' parents! I went to college with her cousin from Dublin. Other cousins attended Pulaski High. Kim attended East Tennessee State with lots of my classmates. We met at the old Propeller Club in Radford! No children by choice. Currently three cats allow us to live with them. Kim and I have a 23' boat we take to Lake Powell with friends. We love to waterski, explore, and fish. The mountains here are tremendous. e encounter. I still play the guitar and love to play and sing for friends. We have a home here in Utah that takes lots of our time. We love to entertain and visit our friends and family here and around the country.
Workplace
I've worked for ATK (formerly Hercules) for the past 25 years. I began in operations, and worked in most of the areas on plant, before accecpting a position in the processing/manufacturing engineering departments as a technician. I was instrumental in the start-up of our large scale mixing/casting plant for making commercial launch vehicles. I currently work in the Safety/Hazards analysis group supporting all of our aerospace programs.
