Gary's Story

Life I am currently remarried to a beautiful, sweet, and darling woman who is incredibly supportive, and the best thing that ever happened to me- we have a son named Drake. My ex-wife was also a nice lady, just didn't work out. I was an educator (Taught school in Granite School District), went to graduate school & have had a great career in sales. I have come a long way since High School- I have seen alot. I had both good and bad memories of that time. I have 2 Grandkids. 2 Adult Daughters & 1 adult son. College I have attended the following academic institutions on my slow but steady journey to belong to the educated sector: Yavapai Community College. nded graduate school to receive a Masters degree in applied sociology (Masters of Social and Community Service [Social Sciences]). Even though I am an old man (55 years of age) I am excited. Military My job (MOS) was 13 Foxtrot Forward Observer(Their job is to go out with the infantry platoons or 2 man teams to call indirect fire and gather battlefield intel)for the US Army.. I served in Germany as both a 1SG driver and an RTO on a Forward observer team with the 4/27th FA(Attached to the 1/6th Mech Infantry for awhile). In Korea, I was with the 2/17th FA (attached to the 1/503rd Light/Air Assault Infantry) serving as a forward observer team leader. I also served as NBC NCO and other duties. I received an honorable medical discharge for serious medical conditions acquired in KOREA. I am now a disabled Veteran. I loved the U.S. Army and the great people I served with.
