Gary's Story
Life
Quick facts: Separated, divorce pending.. I have two children from a previous marriage. I have a 15 year old girl, and a 13 year old boy.
The boring stuff: After getting my computer degree at Northern Maine Tech, in Presque Isle, I got sidetracked for a decade in the copier biz. I serviced copiers, fax machines, and digital duplicators. After eight years in the office equipment field, the company I was working for was sold to another company. None of the promises that were made, were kept. I decided it was time to get back to my original chosen field: computers. y SML Group, as their IT Manager, for ten years. I take care of the computer network, as well as the copiers and fax machines (naturally) and the phone system. Basically, if it's plugged in, I'm the first call when there's trouble. More recently, I have become an administrator of the US side email servers and part of a helpdesk system, supporting users in the Americas.
Recreation: I used to be the frontman for a local rock band, Strict9. Check out the website at (add a dot net to the band name)! I haven't played hockey in a few years, but I've picked up slow-pitch softball as a pastime. I'm loving it! Find me on Facebook. I should be easy to find.
